As time goes by, it seems more and more people forget, or don't know, how long "Music From Highlander-The Series" has been available.Released in the fall of 1995, "Music From Highlander-The Series" contains only selections of my own original scores from the first three seasons of "Highlander-The Series". I unfortunately do not have the copyright to the Queen, Kansas, and other popular, previously released music frequently heard on the show. Therefore I could not get permission to include any of their songs on "Music From Highlander-The Series"
After several !!THOUSAND!! personal requests from fans of "Highlander-The Series" asking that I release another CD, and especially, overwhelmingly, asking for "Bonny Portmore" (the "hauntingly beautiful" traditional Celtic song used in season 4's first episode 'Homeland'), I am entirely pleased to announce that "Highlander-The Series, Volume II" is here!!!This new CD contains 25 exciting compositions 11 of which are songs. Featured, of course, is Laura Creamer's wildly popular vocal performance of "Bonny Portmore". In addition, there are several other songs featuring vocal performances by Laura Creamer, Daniel O'Brien, M.C. Tuga, and (Famed Oriental Diva) Rose Petal.
Many of the pieces heard on this new CD were requests by fans like yourself. To avoid confusion, please note that all the music contained on this CD is from seasons 4 and 5, with the exception of "Heart Come Back", a sensual jazz ballad wonderfully sung by Laura Creamer from the third season's episode "Methos".
All of the music contained on "Highlander-The Series, Volume II" is original, composed by me, with the exception of any traditional tunes, Celtic or other, which I arranged. Two songs were co-composed. One "Everyhting A Boy Should Be" from season five's "Glory Days" with Highlander producer and brilliant lyricist Bill Panzer, and the other "Heart Come Back" with famed harmonica player Harlan Collins.
